“Breakfast was delicious! Facility is well-maintained.”

“Good location by the lake. Room was clean and the owner was responsive when we had questions about the area. No cable TV (that we saw), so be prepared to bring entertainment for those quiet nights. Also, hot water was limited. Aside from those couple of items, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are back in Texas.”

“I will not stay at this place ever again. Yes the rooms were clean, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the stuff we had to deal with. For starters, we were supposed to have a king bed and after we got there, and they finished cleaning the room we were supposed to have, and told us it was OK to bring our stuff in, they decided to change us to a room with double beds so my husband and I had to sleep in separate beds during our stay. Then they tried to make us pay a deposit that we were not……

“We LOVED this lake cabin. The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and feel right at home. It was very spacious, clean, the a/c works very well, it had all new appliances and even some extra you normally do not find at other homes such as an air fryer toaster oven, an ice maker, and fancy bidet toilets! I loved the massage chair and the view of the lake was gorgeous! We could tell that lots of thought was put into building the cabin itself and the cabin was built just as……

“The place was exactly as pictured. The communication with the host was easy and they quickly answered any questions. The location in a beautiful country setting at the end of a county road so you do not have traffic passing by and there is even a locked gate on the driveway. We chose this location for no traffic and country setting because we entered into the Skeeter owners tournament on Lake Fork and I did not want to worry about things being messed with on the boat. “Excellent stay. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable space. I’m visiting small towns in NE Texas looking for some retirement property or home. Diane’s place is centrally located in between two lakes and the charming town of Mineola. The room was more than enough for a solo traveler. I booked through Expedia and apparently there is some issue with the communication with the VRBO app. It seemed like our messages were delayed or didn’t come through on one app but would show up on the other app.……

“The property is expansive and the modular home on it was cozy. The price was great considering it was a last minute booking. My grandparents live there in Quitman, and we were able to have them over for supper because of all the amenities there.”
